The firm Elderlaw is the recent name given to the legal practice of Rodney Lewis, who has practised in Castle Hill, Parramatta, Ryde and now the CBD.
The firm traces its origins to a solo law practice of Geoff Lewis who began his career as a lawyer when he returned from WW2. That practice was started when Geoff began his first solo practice in Castlereagh Street Sydney in about 1954. So the Elderlaw practice can be traced back 63 years.
When Geoff retired from his private practice in 1974 the clients were taken over by his son Rodney. Geoff joined the Law Society and became its principal legal officer. He managed the professional conduct division for many years until he retired in about 1994.
